Director of Market Intelligence
Sheridan Trent uses her psychology background and extensive research knowledge on the market intelligence team at TSG. Sheridan is focused on monitoring the activities of payment players including market offerings, marketing strategies, vertical analysis, and product direction to support client engagements. She has research publications in the Journal of Community Psychology, Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and Organization Management Journal.
Sheridan graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Her areas of expertise include organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, quantitative and qualitative research methodology, survey design, and action planning with stakeholders. She also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and concentrations in speech communication and philosophy.
Previously, Sheridan served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Research for UNO’s Volunteer Program Assessment group, while completing her master’s degree, where she facilitated climate surveys, developed data analytic reports, and delivered key insights and recommendations to community partners. Sheridan also worked as a Healthcare Research Associate with LinkedIn/Glint, developing an agile culture of safety assessment to improve patient safety outcomes within healthcare organizations.
In her spare time, Sheridan volunteers on the Advisory Council of the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging’s Senior Companions Program. She can also be found walking around Omaha with her bear coat Shar-Pei, Lebron.
