The Face of the Payments Industry has Changed Dramatically Over the Last 10 Years

The face of the Payments Industry has changed dramatically over the last 10 years. Mega-mergers, advancements in technology and software, and the evolution of the customer experience at checkout are just a few examples of how far we have come as an industry.
Through these changes, The Strawhecker Group (TSG) has always strived to provide its clients with industry-leading consulting and comprehensive data and analytics to back it up. At TSG, we push ourselves to embody the firm’s tagline Payments Experts. Powerful Data.
In 2019, TSG made significant enhancements to its analytics platforms, Acquiring Industry Metrics (AIM) and Gateway Enterprise Metrics (GEM). The AIM platform has revolutionized the way payments companies manage their business. Last year, the team developed a new user interface, AIMVision, to provide its users with new levels of accessibility including customizable dashboards, custom API integrations, and seamless access to performance metrics from nearly 4M card accepting merchants. GEM, now utilized by nearly 20 gateways to benchmark from the merchant, developer, and performance perspective provides its clients critical third-party credibility to ensure their technology is consistent, and performing above the market. In 2019, coupled with new metrics, GEM focused on global expansion with transaction tests and ‘pings’ across the world.
Built on its team of payments executives, each with more than 25 years’ of experience, TSG focuses on solving client pain points. From start to finish, TSG excels at helping each client reach their desired future state. In 2019, the firm focused on boosting its services for private equity, software, and technology companies with payment monetization strategies, M&A guidance, and B2B tactics to name a few. With its robust Market Intelligence division, TSG is able to provide primary and secondary research to support the teams expertise, creating a level of insight not found anywhere else.
