Both Peter and Shawna have also joined TSG’s Executive Team.

As CPO, Peter partners with strategic clients across the global payments ecosystem to identify opportunities that increase revenue, improve profitability, and unlock long‑term growth. He brings over 20 years of industry experience, spanning merchant and issuer processing, product development, corporate strategy, account management, and M&A. Most recently, Peter led the Services group at TSG.
Prior to joining TSG in 2017, Peter was the Vice President of Product Development at Hap-X, a leading healthcare B2B payments company. Peter also worked at TSYS as the leader of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence for TSYS Merchant Segment and as the head of Financial Planning and Analysis for TSYS Acquiring Solutions.
As Chief of Staff, Shawna partners across the firm to drive strategic initiatives, streamline operations, and translate executive priorities into measurable outcomes that accelerate growth and client impact. Most recently, Shawna led company-wide initiatives as Head of Special Projects at TSG.
Before joining TSG in 2022, Shawna served as SVP of Product Management at Mutual of Omaha Bank, where she built the bank’s product development function and directed multi‑year agile programs. Shawna also worked at First National Merchant Solutions (FNMS/TSYS), where she led product management, operations, business technology, client services, and sales.
In addition to the executive appointments, Christina Ochsner’s role as Director of Research and Consulting has been elevated. Christina now leads the Services team, focusing on project fulfillment and is responsible for executing research, consulting, tech enablement, and M&A services within TSG.
Prior to her role at TSG, Christina held several positions at PayPal, ending as Director of Finance Product Enablement, where she fostered collaboration between Product and Finance teams to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions.
